First Fridays 11:30am Church (followed by adoration until 8pm in the chapel)
Confessions: Saturdays 3:00pm-3:45pm, First Fridays 11:00am-11:25am, and by appointment. During the season of Lent: Wednesdays 7pm-9pm starting March 1, 2023.

It is the Church’s consistent belief and teaching that the parents are the primary religious educators of their children. When a child is baptized, his/her parents make the commitment to form the child in the Faith which includes full, active and conscious participation in the Sunday Mass. We are happy to assist parents in fulfilling their duty of handing on our faith to their children.
Our catechists are persons of faith who are dedicated to the Church’s mission of spreading the gospel. They work in tandem with parents, under the direction of the Director of Religious Education and the Pastor, to help parents in this sacred task.
By enrolling your child, parents/guardians agree to abide by and accept these responsibilities for your child to remain in the program: (please initial each line)
► Participating in the celebration of the Sunday Eucharist every week. Families who have not been regularly participating in Sunday Mass will be asked to meet with the pastor before they can register.________
► Participating as a family in the 2 required Family Catechesis events during the year. _______
► Bringing the child to class on time and prompt pick up by an adult at dismissal. _______
► Ensuring that the child misses class only for illness or emergency._______
► Exhibiting a positive attitude toward the Catholic Church, its teachings, the catechist, and the religious education program. ________
► Reviewing the child’s weekly lesson as stipulated by his/her catechist or sacramental preparation requirements.______
► All registrations are contingent on the successful completion of the prior year’s curriculum per the Catechetical Guidelines of the Archdiocese of New York. _______

Our program relies heavily on volunteers. Please consider assisting in one of these areas:

❑ Sunday Mass Helper ❑ Special events help - set-up, baking, cleaning
❑ Substitute Catechist ❑ Data entry & recording keeping
All volunteers must complete a background check and watch the Archdiocese’s 30 minute Safe Environment DVD either in the Religious Education Office or on the Archdiocese website.
